Riverside Hotel – fourth most luxurious hotel in Europe

Prague, 14 ^th February 2007: MaMaison Hotels & Apartments is pleased to announce that Riverside Hotel, a key member of its hospitality portfolio, has been honoured in a list compiled by Tripadvisor (www.tripadvisor.com), in its prestigious “Travelers’ Choice 2006”. The survey rates the world’s best hotels based on guest evaluation. On Tripadvisor’s list of ‘preferred choice’ hotels, Riverside Hotel came first in the Czech Republic. Since opening in 2002, Riverside Hotel has been successfully operated by MaMaison Hotels & Apartments, a brand of leading investor and developer, ORCO Property Group.

It has proven a popular stop for those who like to choose holiday accommodation based on online advice. Its “Travelers’ Choice” award is fast becoming one of the most coveted in the hotel industry, as it honours only those hotels chosen by millions of real-life travellers, who gather to share opinions on the world’s largest travel community – www.tripadvisor.com . They do this by sending an e-mail evaluation form to the Tripadvisor team who, having checked to ensure that the form has been completed in accordance with its rules, then post the evaluation on the website.

Riverside Hotel, the luxury 5 star hotel and dominating feature of the Vltava River’s left bank, has celebrated a strong opening since its reconstruction in November 2002. Thanks to its locality, this Secession building offers fairytale views of Prague’s architectural and historical treasures from almost every room. Since January 2003 the Riverside Hotel has been a member of the highly exclusive global hotel group Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) and Hotels et Preference. Well-known French designer Pascal de Montrémy designed the interior of the rooms in brown, gold, blue, green and red tones.
